Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
As most providers, I mostly offer private pay, and for some limited clients sliding scales. Right now I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mass, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Out of Network.
Do you offer in-person Therapy?
Not at the moment, services are via Telehealth for NY and NJ.
Here are some additional questions to ask your insurance provider:
Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage?
Am I able to use these benefits for telehealth?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
How much of my deductible has been met this year?
Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out of network?
How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
How long does it take for me to receive reimbursement?
How do I get started?
Send me an email/ call for a free 15 minutes consultation, or schedule your first session at your convenience.
What can I expect from the beginning of Therapy?
I start with the intake process where you fill out some questionnaires and enter your information. During the first session we talk about your background story and the reason that brings you to therapy. To explore your inner self is not that easy, expect some emotions to come out wild, and some weirdness, but trust the process.
